Emojar is now a collection of more than 140 small, free online tools. Convert an iPhone photo to JPG, merge two PDFs, sign a contract, format a messy JSON response, count the words in an essay or spin a wheel to pick tonight's restaurant — without creating an account and without uploading your files anywhere.

The emojis haven't gone anywhere. All 3,790 of them, the games and the emoji tools are still one click away at emoji search. But the heart of the site is now Online Tools.

What can you do with Emojar now?

The tools are grouped into eleven categories:

Category A few examples
Images Image Converter, HEIC to JPG, Compress to 50 KB, Meme Generator
PDF Merge PDF, Sign PDF, Protect PDF
Text Word Counter, Fancy Text, Text to Speech
Developer JSON Formatter, SQL Formatter, JWT Decoder
Calculators Scientific Calculator, GPA Calculator, Loan Calculator
Audio & video MP4 to MP3, Video to GIF
And more Color tools, unit converters, password and QR generators, timers and clocks, webcam and microphone tests

Every tool is free, works on phones as well as laptops, and needs no sign-up.

Why does "runs in your browser" matter?

Most online converters work by uploading your file to a server, processing it there and sending the result back. That is slow on a bad connection, and it means a copy of your passport scan, contract or holiday photos sits — at least for a while — on somebody else's computer.

Emojar's tools do the work on your own device instead. Modern browsers are surprisingly capable: they can decode and encode images, read and write PDFs, hash files, generate secure random numbers and even run compiled programs through WebAssembly. Emojar simply puts those capabilities behind a friendly interface.

In practice that means:

  • Your files never leave your device. There is no upload step and nothing to delete afterwards.
  • It is fast. No upload queue, no waiting for a server — a batch of photos converts in seconds.
  • It keeps working offline. Once a tool page has loaded, the processing itself does not need an internet connection.

A few tools need to download an engine the first time you use them — for example the OCR engine behind Image to Text. Even then, only the engine is downloaded; your image stays with you. Each tool page says clearly when that applies.

Every tool comes with a guide

Alongside the tools we are publishing a practical guide for each one — not a repeat of the tool page, but the background that helps you get a better result: which image format to choose, why a PDF won't get smaller, how much entropy a strong password needs, why your "days between dates" count is off by one. New guides appear on the blog every day.

If a question is not answered there, the new FAQ collects the most common ones by category.

What's next?

We will keep adding tools that people actually search for, and improving the ones that are here. If there is a tool you are missing — or one that doesn't work the way you expect — tell us through the contact page.
