What is the Meme Generator?

The classic meme style is white Impact-style capitals with a black outline, so the text stays readable on any background. You can change the colour and size of every caption and drag it anywhere; the ALL CAPS and outline switches apply to all captions.

Use images you have the rights to share. The generator does not include copyrighted meme templates — upload your own photo, screenshot or a template you are allowed to use.

What image size should I use?

Anything from 500 to 1,500 pixels wide works well for social media. Larger images are scaled down to 2,000 pixels on the longest side.
