Image Resizer
Resize images to exact pixel dimensions or by percentage, with the aspect ratio locked or unlocked. Works with JPG, PNG, WebP and more — processed locally in your browser.
Your files never leave your device.
How to use the Image Resizer
- 1Add one or more images.
- 2Choose “By pixels” and enter a width and/or height, or choose “By percentage”.
- 3Keep “Lock aspect ratio” on to avoid stretching, then click Resize and download.
What is the Image Resizer?
Resizing changes the number of pixels in an image. Making an image smaller reduces its file size and is often required for profile pictures, online forms and marketplaces. Making it larger adds pixels by interpolation, which cannot add real detail.
With the aspect ratio locked, entering only a width calculates the matching height automatically (and vice versa). Entering both fits the image inside that box.
Frequently asked questions
Will resizing reduce quality?
Shrinking an image keeps it sharp. Enlarging it beyond its original size will look softer, because the browser has to invent the new pixels.
Can I resize many images to the same size?
Yes — add multiple files and the same settings are applied to each one.
Is the Image Resizer free and private?
Yes. The Image Resizer is free, needs no account, and processes your files entirely in your browser. Files are never uploaded to a server or stored.
