What is the Password Generator?
Password strength is measured in bits of entropy: length × log2(number of possible characters). A 16-character password using all four character types has about 104 bits — far beyond what can be brute-forced.
The generator uses crypto.getRandomValues with unbiased sampling, and every password is guaranteed to contain at least one character of each type you selected.

No. They exist only in this page until you close or refresh it.
How long should a password be?
At least 12 characters; 16 or more for important accounts. Use a unique password for every site.
