What is the Color Picker?
The screen eyedropper uses the browser’s EyeDropper API, available in Chromium-based browsers. Picking from an image works in every browser and never uploads the image.
Frequently asked questions
Why is “Pick from screen” missing?
Your browser does not support the EyeDropper API yet (Firefox and Safari). Use the image picker instead.
Is the Color Picker free and private?
Yes. The Color Picker is free, needs no account, and processes your files entirely in your browser. Files are never uploaded to a server or stored.
